Graton Resort and Casino declared that they would increase remuneration for its all-stage workers on 8 March. According to the media, it has raised its payment with a minimum rate of 10%. And all non-tipped and tipped workers will also receive an hourly payment increment. The casino announced that all non-tipped workers would get an $18.50 per hour rate and a minimum $3.25 per hour increment based on their current salary. On the other hand, all tipped workers will be paid on a $17.50 basis and a minimum $2.50 increment based on their current remuneration.
The tribal gaming facility also declared that it would also bring a new discretionary gratuity program. The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria’s Tribal Chairman Greg Sarris said that the families who belong in Northern California have to cope with a minimum remuneration, food, and living costs are excessive there.
Sarris said that consistently the casino paid above the minimum salary to its employees and contributed paid facilities like fully paid health insurance. According to him, salary increment sounds the appropriate help for his team members after a burdensome year.
