On 6th July 2020, for Join Games Malta Limited, the authorization cancelled by the Malta Gaming Authority regarding the ten regulation of Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations (MGA/B2B/321/2016).
Accordingly, the gaming operations no longer can carry out by the Join Games Malta Limited. The Join Games Malta Limited register new players, offer them the gaming services and accept deposits from them. However, all register players must retain it, and it will allow the old player to access their account and refund all pending credits.
MGA Cancels the Join Games Malta Limited Authorization
For breaching the following terms according to the regulation 9 (1), on the operator, the suspension imposed. The operator violates the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations:
- Failed to submit the vital supporting documents and the vital functional roles list.
- For a directorship change, the authority was unable to seek the authority’s prior written approval.
- Promptly, failed to pay the authority’s due.
However, to challenge the decision of MGA, the Join Games Malta Limited can choose to appeal as per the Gaming Act Article 43.
With the entitled notice “Notice of Cancellation” and the accompanying documents, the MGA has opted to work for the Join Games Malta Limited (MGA/B2b/321/2016). The notice issued on 20th April 2020 according to the terms and conditions of Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations, regulation 12.
According to the regulation of 10(2), to the authorized person, in writing, the authority is requesting to show cause as to why the relevant authorities should not cancel. The show-cause notice has to submit within the twenty (20) days period commencing from the notice date of cancellation. At this moment, the company can present their words as to why not to cancel the authorization. For all intents and purpose, the authorized person should consider being notified as the said notice becomes visible on the authority’s website.
Within the period mentioned above, If the authorized person failed to exercise the show cause right, why the cancellation of the authorization may proceed by the authority. If the management doesn’t have any fault regarding the revocation of the authorization, they should give an appropriate answer to the management throw the show cause notice.
