KPMG Malta is all set to deliver investment content at CasinoBeats Malta Digital online trade show and virtual conference. Building on its partnership with SBC – a reputed event organiser in the gaming industry, it will deliver the ‘Anticipating the Next Wave of M&A’ session at the conference.
CasinoBeats Malta Digital will continue until 2nd July. Over 3000 delegates will attend the event and present high-quality iGaming content from top suppliers of the industry, thus opening a window of networking opportunities.
It is worth noting that KPMG Malta offers specialised iGaming services that transcend functional and global boundaries by combining its industry expertise with a strong network and close relationships. The session for ‘Anticipating the Next Wave of M&A’ is included in the agenda that would be the focus for day 2 of the event. Its panel would be chaired by Hermione Arciola, Partner – Deal Advisory, KPMG Malta.
The speakers would include Ben Robinson – co-founder of RB Capital Advisors, Grant Johnson – CEO of Esports Entertainment Group, Robert Andersson – CEO of Net Gaming Europe AB and Cormac O’Brien – CFO of Flutter Entertainment Malta.
The topic of discussion would be if the European iGaming industry is about to enter a new phase of consolidation and what are the possible opportunities for business owners and investors. Opinions and questions from the audience of casino operators and suppliers will also be taken into account.
According to Russell Mifsud, director – gaming lead for KPMG Malta, it is a delight to work with SBC and CasinoBeats yet again, especially after the successful thought leadership sessions at the SBC Digital Summit held in April. CasinoBeats Malta Digital offers the perfect platform for remote gaming professionals to network and share their experiences. It is also helpful in overcoming business challenges.
Mifsud further added that KPMG Malta is currently looking forward to contributing to the network with their insights on the investment market. The director will be participating in a session dedicated to Reputation Management for the iGaming sector. The same will be included in the opening day’s conference track for Working in Malta and let out in partnership with GamingMalta.
The session will be followed by the tracks about the Future of Gaming, Payment Expert, Regulation and Compliance, and Technology and Innovation spanned over day two and three. According to Stewart Darkin, managing director of CasinoBeats, the agenda of the event is to let delegates benefit from the insights into the challenges faced by the iGaming industry in Malta and leverage its repute to make it a centre of excellence for online gambling.
Darkin further added that investments, mergers and acquisitions will remain a priority when it comes to issues for business leaders. Expressing delight in being able to work with KPMG and participate in the virtual conference, praised the expertise of Russell’s team, which he believes will add great value to the event’s attendees.
It is worth noting that CasinoBeats Malta Digital will be running themed networking sessions in the conference to help delegates connect with likeminded people who share similar business interests.
They will also be able to connect with new people using the 40 booths at the exhibitions. The event will also make room for networking opportunities during round tables and workshops. The platform further has a virtual networking bar and a one-to-one chat facility, which set up the right set of circumstances to connect with the right people.
