MGM Resorts International introduced Tilak Mendadi to be appointed to a newly created position Chief Strategy, Innovation, and Technology Officer. He will be joining the firm from 6th July 2021.
Mendadi in the role of Chief Strategy, Innovation, and Technology Officer will oversee MGM Resort’s driving growth, strategy, and innovation through technology-led customer experience, products, and services. He will also lead an innovation and strategy team, and will also manage to enhance the relationship of BetMGM, joining as the Board of Directors for BetMGM. He will be working from the office of Las Vegas and will report to MGM Resorts CEO and President Bill Hornbuckle.

Mendadi has decades of experience which he will be bringing to MGM Resorts. He is expected to bring strategic Fortune-100 companies as well as start-ups. He has recently served as an executive vice president of digital and global chief technology officer for Disney PArk. Mendadi is a part of Disney Park since 2013 and has led a large, diverse, and global team that focuses on the guest growth strategies for theme parks, cruise lines, resort hotels and may travel, food and retail, and beverages lines of business.

Mendadi has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Oregon.
