Lockdown in the UK ends on 2nd December – Casino and Betting Industries May Reopen Soon

The gambling and betting industries in the UK will make one more attempt to go back to the normal condition after the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson declared that the country would withdraw the lockdown order from 2nd December. The PM declared it on 23rd November in a press release. The lockdown began from 5th November and provoked the complete shutdowns of the casino industries and betting shops.

However, the number of reopened casinos and the regions where these industries can restart their businesses will depend on the number of infected patients and the rate.

Prime Minister Johnson delivered another speech, which made the mind of the gamblers joyful. He said that the fans would again be allowed to go to the stadiums so that they could attend the live events and enjoy. Since March, when the lockdown was first imposed, nobody could attend and gather at the live events as large gatherings were not allowed to prevent the transmission of the virus. The stadiums are getting opened soon but with strict restrictions, such as the capacity of those venues should be reduced to 50%. Each of those venues should contain no more than 4,000 fans outdoor. Until the coronavirus cases decrease remarkably, these restrictions must be followed. Similar to the outdoor capacity, the restrictions are also applicable for the indoors, and the number of fans should no more than 1,000 here.
