New Year’s Gala in Fremont Street Experience: Firework Display Instead of Concert

No live amusements will be occurred in this year, especially the live music will be banned in the Fremont Street Experience of Las Vegas. However, a casino near this area will arrange a firework display to give entertainment to the public.

As an entrance fee for new year’s countdown show and security purposes, a wristband must be bought by the audience and a $25 charge as the security fee will be imposed, along with a few other restrictions.

Conditions to Entrance

  • Age restriction has been made. People of age between 21 and above only can have access.
  • For safety purposes, everyone must wear a mask to enter the place at pm.
  • To assure a safer environment for the people, a clear bag policy has been made.

This all information has been gathered from Fremont Street Experience’s website, and it also mentions the high-security system with bags checking, scanning IDs, using a metal detector to scrutinize, and most importantly a COVID test.

Fire display in Plaza

Despite no announcement about the festivities at the Fremont Street Experience, there will be a firework show by the Plaza Hotel and Casino. The firework show is going to be starting from the south region.

On New Year’s Eve, Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Resort, is planning to arrange a Countdown on the 31st night and the whole program is going to be a live stream on KLAS-TV, launching at 8:59 pm. The resort is for only adults and providing a room which is their first initiative.

El Cortez Carpet hotel

On the first day of the new year, the El Cortez Carpet hotel and downtown casinos will be seen to sell numerous beautiful kinds of floral rugs that belonged to the gaming floor for 13 years.

An arrangement of gift items will be seen here where each fabric costs $19 and the measurement will be about 16 inches by 16 inches.

These floral carpets and rugs contain some sorts of sentimental feelings to the collector of this area. The carpets were first introduced in 1941 in El Cortez.
