Suspected Shooter of Casino Parking Garage of Detroit’s Motor City Confronts Murder Charge

On Wednesday, the man charged with Detroit’s City Murder case is scheduled to present in criminal court. First-degree murder and felony firearm charges are drawn on Nicholas White (27).

Murder in the parking garage of the Casino occurred, and on Sunday, police arrested a man. The homicide victim was Kermit McCants (25) belongs to Clinton Township.

At 1.48 am, at the second level of Motor City Casino garage, the murder ensued. The reality of this murder was the interference of a third person between a couple.

McCants and his girlfriend were involved in a dispute at the casino garage. Nicholas White intervened in their dispute and talked on behalf of the woman, and then the incident happened.

White repeatedly shot McCants in the garage as the confrontation unfolded. After the occurrence of the shooting, White ran away from the incident place. On Sunday, around 11.48 in Detroit, White become arrested by the Detroit police.

Though the victim was taken to the local hospital after getting fired, doctors declared his death soon. The police formally arrest White on Tuesday.

White Faces Sentence

If White becomes convicted, without any possibility of parole, White will face a sentence of up to life in prison.

Motor City Casino told WXYZ, the local TV station that, their top priority is to provide the topmost security to their guests and employees.

However, this incident of violence in the gaming property area is not new. In the last few years there were several violent crimes frequently took place in the parking garage of hotel-casino and at lots of gaming property.
