Thunder Valley Casino Resort is one of the busiest Vegas-style properties located in Sacramento, California. The resort is about to create history by incorporating a $100 million casino enlargement on 15 March, Tuesday.
The hotel and casino resort will open its door in late 2022. It is planning to construct a large indoor entertainment center to host all sorts of performances. It will be named The Venue at Thunder Valley and will be located right next to the casino. It will be featured with above 5,000 seats.
The gambling complex’s owner, the United Auburn Indian Community will arrange a ground-breaking ceremony on Tuesday. Since 2010 all of Thunder Valley’s conventional outdoor concert series was held on the temporary amphitheater. Now the latest indoor facility will replace the old one and it’s not clear whether those series will be held in the summer or not.
Tribal spokesman Dough Elmets stated to the local media that they continued conversations with lots of performers, especially for when they will open doors for events. The tribe was in touch with Sammy Hagar, Rod Stewart and Stevie Wonder for the event. Mr. Elmets also said that sports events like boxing matches and comedy shows were placeable with the latest facility.
Challenge rivals
Wilton Rancheria tribe made history for $500 million Sky River Casino construction just before two weeks of the Thunder Valley’s ground-breaking ceremony. This property is also scheduled their opening in late 2020. And they have the plan to join the other six casinos and resorts in the Greater Sacramento area.
Sky River is going to be the new casino in that region after launching Yuba County in 2019’s October by Hard Rock International.
Mr. Elements also said that they are aimed to challenge raise competition in that region by implementing their property. They determine always to be more steps forward from their competitor. This casino has lots of things except other casinos in that region.
Thunder casino is the biggest casino by the number of slot machines they operate in this region. 3,500 of 13,000 slots are now available in Greater Sacramento hosted by this casino.
